One of Us Films is delighted to announce the premiere screening of the film Lean, Mean & Green on Wednesday, September 25th, 7:00 p.m. at the Detroit Film Theatre. Documenting the success achieved and challenges facing post-industrial cities around the world, filmmakers traveled to Youngstown, Ohio; Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; Torino, Italy and Western Germany, in addition to Detroit. The screening will be followed by a question and answer discussion with the director, Carrie LeZotte, and journalist John Gallagher of the Detroit Free Press.
VIP pre-seating is available with a pledge of $25 toward the film project and includes a DVD copy of the film. Lean, Mean, Green or Extreme Champion pledges include screen credit in the film. All funds for production of the project have come from Michigan-based entities. In addition to the Premiere Sponsorship of the DTE Energy Foundation, production was made possible by a grants from The Kellogg Foundation and the Michigan Humanities Council .
